Coffee Shop Manager is PA-DSS (Payment Application-Data Security Standards) validated and able to support your credit card processing needs, safely and securely. Our validation supports the integration of Coffee Shop Manager with several payment platforms, so you can use a provider of YOUR choosing!

Validated Payment Applications

One very relevant consideration is that the PCI Security Standards Council decertified all mobile payment applications due to security concerns. In updated rules, dated June 22, 2011, they allowed for specific instances wherein mobile applications could become PA-DSS validated. Specifically EXCLUDED (meaning no opportunity for validation at this time) were devices that fell into the following definition: “Mobile Payment Acceptance Application Category 3 – Payment application operates on any consumer electronic handheld device (e.g., smart phone, tablet, or PDA) that is not solely dedicated to payment acceptance for transaction processing.”
