POS Core Technologies, Inc. stands behind our products 100%. We have a team of technical support engineers available 7 days a week to answer questions and assist with hardware issues. We also provide a technical support and discussion forum as well as email support.

Coffee Shop Manager provides online technical support via a modem or Internet connection and the PC Anywhere Host software from Symantec. PC Anywhere is an outstanding product that allows us to assume control of your POS computer as if right in your shop.

Requirements for technical support:

You must be currently subscribed to a CSM support program. Your initial CSM purchase includes a one year support contract.

PC Anywhere access must be available on your register or HQ Server.

PC Anywhere is included in all of our Coffee Shop Manager packages. You may also purchase the PC Anywhere software from a local software retailer, or online through the Symantec Web Site. You may purchase a Host Only version to save money.

You must provide an internet connection to your store. This is usually accomplished using a modem and a local Internet Service Provider.

Alternatively we can dial directly to your modem, provided you have a dedicated telephone or fax number for the modem. This is available on a call-back basis only, in which the PC Anywhere reverses the phone charges by phoning back Coffee Shop Manager after the appropriate login and password is provided. You will be responsible for all long distance charges using this method. This method of access for support is slow and may create longer support times and is therefore not recommended.

All of our packaged systems include the PC Anywhere Technical Support software and a 56K modem. We are available via email to answer your questions. Normal response time is less than 24 hours, usually within one hour during normal business hours (8:30am-5:00pm Pacific Time).

Hardware Support

Coffee Shop Manager can provide you with a line of selected POS peripherals which have been fully tested and proven to be reliable with the Coffee Shop Manager software.

For customers who purchase software only, we can assist in providing appropriate drivers for your POS devices, provided that you ship the device to our offices for testing and driver preparation. Virtually any POS device can be provided with a driver to allow compatibility with the Coffee Shop Manager.

Currently Coffee Shop Manager POS Registers are certified to run correctly on Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
